“Golden Hour” Fabrics

I never thought a selvage edge could be so exciting! My sample fabric recently arrived from the SAQA Golden Hour fabric design contest. Six lucky quilt artists had their fabric designs selected for Andover’s Golden Hour line of fabrics. Andover contributes a portion of its profits for this project to Studio Art Quilt Associates. Our inspiration was the colors of the twilight hour. The winners were selected by Luana Rubin of eQuilter. Andover Mills sponsored the contest and produces the fabrics.

Here is the link to see all the winning designs: https://www.z2systems.com/np/clients/saqa/product.jsp?product=971& on the SAQA website.

More links for purchasing:

This shows the repeat in the pattern. There are lots of motifs to cut out and use individually!

And here’s ‘Art Mom’ with the yardage standing in front of the my original fabric, mounted on canvas.

Whether you like my design or one of the other beautiful Golden Hour designs, I hope you consider purchasing some fabric for your projects in the coming year. Happy New Year!

Sharon I’m so very very proud of you. This is an outstanding accomplishment you should be commended for. I think it is Altoona Mirtor worthy. You are an amazing creative artist. Proud to call you Friend.

Thanks, Lynn for the encouraging words! You’ve always been a great supporter. Maybe I will send a little blurb and pic to the Mirror.
